Ajarn Meng also makes amulets, and performs various blessings and magical ceremonies, such as Sado kro, krop khru, sawan chiwaha, aab nam mont saam mahaa (3 kinds of Saneh charm with a shower of prayer water). He is well known for the “Maha Saneh” (charm and preference/popularity) type of magic.
Ajarn Meng began his trajectory from the early age of 14 when he learnt the Wicha of Rak Yom (love charms) from Ajarn Chalem in Sukhumvit soi 65, using Mai rak dtaay prai and mai yom mayon dtaay prai as well as nam man gai daeng.
After this he learnt from Hlwong Dtia (Pra Surapongs Pongsingh). Hlwong Dtia was famous for the “fact” that evil spirits and the spirits of the dead were afraid of him. It was often said that when a household had a member of the family who was posessed with a spirit (Phii Khao), that the spirits would run away and leave even if Hlwong Dtia just passed by the house without entering. Hlwong Dtias amulets contained the bones of corpses in order to help those who had died to gain merit from their bones being used for amulets. Hlwong Dtia taught a host of other wicha to Ajarn meng such as calling ghosts and spirits to serve one’s needs, watch over your house or posessions, remove black magic spells…
After this Ajarn Meng wentg to learn from Hlwong Por Mee Khemadhammo in Ayuttaya, who was an old and revered monk, respected for his diligent practise. He taught Ajarn Meng the Wicha of Na Hnaa Tong in the style of LP Jong of Wat Natang Nork (famous geji Ajarn of Ayuttaya) taught him advanced meditation and the four faced yant of Brahma, and how to blow kata into many forms sacred yant, such a Kro Paetch. He also divulged the Wicha of Kroo Rasi.
